Hoi An has a lot of drivers. Almost all of them can drive. That's the easy part. The part that matters — the part we hire for — is whether your four-year-old will remember their name six months later.
A real English conversation.
Not a test. A conversation. We sit down for thirty minutes and talk about their favourite dish, their family, what they'd do on their own day off. If we can't laugh with them, neither will you.
A clean record and a background check.
No exceptions. Verified through Vietnamese provincial records. Re-checked annually.
The zero-commission pledge.
They sign it. We audit it. Quarterly spot-checks: we send a guest to a known commission-paying restaurant and see if the driver steers them there. One strike, off the platform.
A trial week shadowing a senior driver.
Before they drive for you, they drive with Minh, Hùng, or Tuấn for a full week. The senior driver has veto power.
Annual re-certification.
Every year, every driver re-does the English conversation, the driving test, the background check, and the pledge signing. No one coasts.
