Hi — I'm Jing. I started HoiAnDriver after watching one too many friends arrive at Da Nang airport at midnight, get scammed by a meter taxi, and start their Vietnam trip already exhausted and angry.
Central Vietnam is one of the most beautiful regions on earth. The Hai Van Pass. The lanterns of Hoi An. The Cham temples of My Son at sunrise. But getting around is harder than it should be — Grab drivers can't read your hotel name in English, group bus tours rush you past the things you actually want to see, and every taxi ride is a negotiation.
So we built something simple: a short list of drivers we've personally ridden with, fixed prices in USD, real human support on WhatsApp from the moment you book until you're home. No surge. No haggling. No surprises.
We're not trying to be Klook. We don't take 30% commission, swap drivers between bookings, or run a call center. Every driver on our roster is someone I know by name. Every booking goes through me. Every WhatsApp gets a real reply.
What we promise
- English-speaking driver, every trip. No exceptions, no apologies.
- Guaranteed one price, paid in advance. Lock it in via Stripe before you fly. The driver never handles money — no surprises, no upcharges, no haggle on arrival.
- Eat where locals eat. Our drivers don't take you to the tour-bus restaurants with English menus and 3× prices. They take you to the bun bo joint their auntie runs, the seafood shack on Lang Co Bay, the banh mi cart that's been there for 40 years. Just say you're hungry.
- Free cancellation 24h before pickup. Plans change, we get it.
- Driver photo, name and plate sent to you 12 hours before pickup.
- Real human on WhatsApp. Me. Not a chatbot.
- Tipping is optional. If your driver made the trip great, $5–10 USD is welcome but never expected.
