1. What we do

HoiAnDriver (“we”, “us”) arranges private driver services in and around Hội An, Đà Nẵng and Huế, Việt Nam — transfers, airport pickups, day charters and multi-day trips. Every trip is individually quoted: you describe the trip on our quote form, a real driver prices it, and you receive one itemized total by email.

2. Quotes

A quote is a fixed, itemized offer in US dollars, valid for 72 hours from the time it is sent. After it expires, prices may change and a fresh quote is needed. Anything not listed in your quote — meals you order yourself, shopping, personal expenses — is paid by you directly as you go.

3. Booking and payment

A booking exists when you click to book on your quote page. No payment is taken at that moment — there is no deposit and no card. Your driver holds your dates on that basis, so tell us as early as you can if plans change (see the cancellation policy). The total is fixed in US dollars at quote time and paid in full to your driver at the end of the trip. We never charge more than the quoted total; tips are optional and never expected.

4. Changes

Before your trip, plan details (stops, timing, pace) can be adjusted with us on the WhatsApp thread you receive after booking, within the scope of what was quoted. Changes that alter the scope of the trip — extra days, different routes, more passengers — are re-quoted. Mid-trip extensions are quoted and confirmed the same way as any trip.

5. Our responsibilities

Your driver is licensed and insured for passenger transport in Việt Nam, and personally known to the operator. Before your trip you receive your driver's name, photo and licence plate. We carry out the trip as quoted; if weather or road conditions force a change (for example a typhoon closing the Hải Vân Pass), we propose the closest safe alternative — rerouting, resequencing or rescheduling — and agree it with you before or during the trip.

6. Your responsibilities

Give accurate trip details (passenger counts, children's ages, luggage, flight numbers); be reachable at the email you provide; follow Vietnamese law during the trip; and treat the vehicle and driver with ordinary care. Seat belts are worn; child seats are provided when requested in the quote.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by Vietnamese law, our liability for any claim arising from a trip is limited to the total amount you paid us for that trip. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control — weather, road closures, official restrictions, or airline schedule changes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. The practical rest

These terms are governed by the laws of Việt Nam. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. Questions about these terms: hello@hoiandriver.com.
