what we know, and why.

What we collect

• Trip details you type — dates, passengers, children's ages, pickup point, your plan in your own words.
• Contact details — your email (required, it's where your quote goes) and WhatsApp number (optional).
• Payment — handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our systems; we see the payment status and amount.
• Usage — standard analytics (Google Analytics) with cookies, to understand which pages help people.

What it's used for

Quoting your trip, running your trip, and nothing else. Your plan is translated and shared with the driver who'll drive it. Your contact details are used to send your quote, your confirmation, and — after you book — to open the WhatsApp thread your trip runs on. We don't send marketing email, and we never sell or rent your data.

Who processes it

• Stripe — card payments.
• Mailgun — sends our quote and confirmation emails.
• Supabase & Vercel — where the site and its database run.
• Your driver — receives your trip plan and, once you've booked, your contact details.
• Google Analytics — anonymous-level usage statistics, via cookies.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and bookings are kept as business records of trips quoted and taken. Ask us to delete your data at hello@hoiandriver.com and we will, except records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons.

Your choices
